The short version
This site sets no tracking cookies. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no session cookie tied to your identity. The only thing stored on your device is your own display preference.
What is actually stored
- Theme preference — a single
localStorageentry holds whether you chose light or dark mode. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and disappears if you clear your browser data. - No cookies from this site. The pages themselves do not set any cookie. You can verify this in your browser's storage inspector: the cookie list for this domain is empty.
Third parties
The site is served as static files from a CDN, which necessarily sees the request metadata any web server sees: IP address, user agent, the URL requested. That is a property of serving anything over HTTP and is not something this site can or does use to identify you. We run no third-party analytics, no fonts loaded from another domain, and no embedded widgets.
Why localStorage and not a cookie
A cookie would be attached to every request to this domain, which is unnecessary for a display
preference that only the page's own JavaScript needs to read. localStorage keeps the
value on the device and out of the network entirely.
Controlling it
Clearing site data in your browser removes the stored preference; the site will simply fall back to your operating system's light/dark setting. Blocking cookies for this domain changes nothing about how the tools work — every tool runs locally regardless.
